Hi Herb,

I have heard about this beer can chicken cooking idea. As you write now, I have realised the can is half full with the beer and the chicken wrapped in aluminium foil that is later removed for the skin browning. I don't have this stand but I will try to experiment with a provisional version which would hold it stable in the oven. I find the thought of introducing steam from the beer into-inside the chicken as very interesting, I must do it too and will drop posting in on how I went with it, thanks! Jon
