I just cooked my first pizzas on Saturday. It was dark out and I dont have my long pizza peel yet, so I cooked 4 of them one after another in the same spot. I too used cornmeal to make transfer from the (small) peel to the oven and everything was fine. Perhaps you are using too much? Or you can try sweeping it out after each cooking
