Distorted strawberry

I came across this strawberry the other day. What is going on first I thought?! Three, but huge strawberries, grew into one fruit.

This season is great for strawberries growers, their fruits produce have lovely aromatic flavor. Which wasn’t the case at all during the previous rather dry season. Perhaps these farmers might be using some different type of strawberry plants I reckon or, would that be they simply use a renewed or rested soil in a way? Let’s hope so.

I have heard somewhere that strawberry plant destroy the soil they grow -in just three years and then they need to be replanted elswhere.
