The first firebrick arch
Our first of the four firebrick arches that form the internal vault is in place now. Continuing with the next 2/4 arch, therefore right now, as can be seen on the image, Larry is setting the plywood arch making form template into precise position for making the 2nd arch or the all four. With these arch making templates any arch radius’s can be made absolutely precisely. Structurally these bricks remain strong.
