Yes, since TraditionalOven.com accepts donations we accept contributions from many different countries (including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany, Japan, France, China, Hungary, Czech Republic and others.) Is my donation tax-deductible?

To the best of my knowledge, no. At least if it's not a sponsoring issue. In the Australia, donations are only tax-deductible when they are made to non-profit organizations that are permitted to provide tax exemptions by the government. Although these rulers my vary in different countries, you certainly may use received docket for tax purposes. TraditioanlOven.com is not a charity (despite the fact that we provide on line tutorials, WorkShops, services to Open Source projects free of charge.) Wherever you live and you believe this donation may be tax-deductible, please consult local tax laws and/or a tax attorney; to the best of our knowledge, donations to TraditionalOven.com are not tax-deductible anywhere on the planet.

What do I get for my contribution?...

...Do I get special attention on my support issues or say over what will be implemented next on the site?

TraditionalOven.com works hard to provide free-of-charge Tutorials, Workshops, services to projects on the website. Whether you are a Chef Cook, Builder, Manufacturer, Developer or Visitor of one of these tutorial projects, or using tutorials on TraditionalOven.com, you are deriving benefit from my efforts. While I provide no specific bonuses for your contribution, you will have the happiness of knowing that you have helped to support the world's largest learning traditional cooking and wood fired oven building website.

I can not promise that as a donor you would get a higher level of support than is already provided, but may I well take this into account when processing your request. We accept feature requests from everyone, and do not promise particular schedule for implementation of new features, but similarly we may take into account features requested by donors.

How will my contribution be recognized?

We maintain a Supporters page (this is a publicly-accessible page) of donors and their comments. If you opted-out of display of your donation on the Supporters page your name will not appear on that page. You may view listing on TraditionalOven.com: Supporters page. You may remove your name from the Supporters page after-the-fact using the option provided.

Now that TraditionalOven.com is accepting donations, can I put links for my website or run advertising campaign on TraditionalOven.com?

As of January 2005, www.TraditionalOven.com permits links to other sites (for their projects and/or offer) on Supporter's page(s) after donation has occurred. TraditionalOven.com prohibits the display of other types of donation links or for using web sites for the generation of revenue. These restrictions do not apply to web sites (i.e. "Home Page" link on the Summary page) hosted externally and sponsoring project(s) on TraditionalOven.com (restrictions help control how server disk space, bandwidth, and other resources are used, but does not restrict the display of donation-related content on sites hosted elsewhere).

Are you living only on donations?...

...Where does your money come from? Will TraditionalOven.com go away if I don't donate?

No, donations ARE NOT enabled to try to "save the site". TraditionalOven.com is owned, run or supported by working people with full or part time jobs. TraditionalOven.com is not in financial trouble, nor is it going away. As a company it continues to show steady improvement. This Donation feature was added because TraditionalOven.com is very expensive to operate and I want to add the features and functionality that I know you want. If you like what I am doing for your project; if you like what this site does for the traditional cooking and wood fired oven building community, now you can make a donation and help me out. Thank you.
