Wood oven made from old convict bricks
John from Newcastle in New South Wales built this classical wood fired brick oven from reused old convict clay bricks manufactured in Australia in 1800’s. He also reused an old railways sleeper metal spikes and metal switch wonderful for the characteristic decorations on his brick oven.

Spherical brick oven with glass tubes
One guy from Brisbane who likes doing tinkering made himself and his wife with their family this very interesting spherical wood fired brick oven. Matt is his name, he added two columns from glass as the arty segment to his round outdoor oven. Page includes images of smoke box hood construction, chimney, thermal insulation and preparations for the final render on top.

Wonderful oven with 8 position rotating switch
This beautifully built and elegant oven has installed a thermometer gauge with 8-position rotating switch, stainless steel tubes and several thermocouple probes fitted for measuring the temperature atmosphere inside its firebrick chamber. Inclusive are photographs showing how were the thermocouples positioned and constructed. Oven was built by Bill in New York. Notice the Christmas decorations witch includes also evening lights on this oven outside.

Oven built on smaller footprint
A new artistic field stone structure built in Canada in Ontario. Work by James. The slab for the oven happened to be smallish in surface originally therefore we built-up blocks at the back cascading style and made the top surface spacious enough.

Another Community Oven Built in Minnesota
This is a new communal oven built. Mike has done already 2 community ovens plus another oven for his own use at home. In addition, Mike currently continues to be a building consultant of couple more oven projects for two different communities. Each of these ovens have the same extended roof as can be seen on this design.

Smoker made from old metal items
How to make a smoker made entirely from old metal items. Like an old otherwise unused steel barrel with lid and old not working stainless steel metal fridge box with metal door on original hinges. Mostly metal fabrication work, light steel engineering. This smoker system can be used for all the smoking techniques, e.g. cold smoke applied for a long time, sometimes even for weeks of cold smoking. And of course fast smoking with higher temperature applied.

A real true craftsman and ex-welder tradesman from Knoxville, TN. USA is into building a mobile oven on a trailer. His project thoughts and plans so far are in this article. First, from reused and recycled materials, he will build a heavy duty tandem axle trailer with brakes on wheels. Then the oven will be placed on top of the trailer to finish the portable oven on wheels.

MTo with modified exterior design
Another modified exterior of the Masterly Tail oven design to fit an existing surrounding settings. It has been built in California. This MTo has also one additional brick layer above the initial brick hearth floor so the extra heat absorbing mass retains more heat energy for longer efficiently.
