I will start to answer posts on Wednesday morning. I am remote. For now; I red the reply from Eugene and it's correct. E.g. with arched firebricks (if used) often there is no mortar at all in arches - have a look in the MTo disk in the separate folder - just like in the low set MTo oven that sits on the ground. No mortar in arches there, just very tiny amount. r
