Nan Bread?

Has anybody tried baking Nan bread in their oven? I've always enjoyed the Indian bread when we go out to eat, but never had access to a tandorri oven. Will these type ovens work?
Started on my oven on March 18th and I'm working on closing in the front of the firebox and starting the fascade. I've spent a lot of time on it, but I'm making good progress with help from my grandson. I pay him a bit, but I think he's really doing it for the pizza - GRIN.
