It is very nice to see that I am not the only one with desire to build wood burning oven in my garden. I've been thinking about this for some time now and for last couple of months I've been collecting information, on how to build wood burning pizza oven by myself. I found this website only recently and must say, it made me more motivated and what is very important for me it gave me lots and lots of information and made me believe that I will be able soon make one for myself. Right now I am trying to find out more how much material I will need and how I can transport it in the boot of my small car.

I must say that I started already by establishing herb garden as I'd love to use fresh herbs for cooking in the oven. Herbs are growing relly well and for now I am using them in my kitchen. I have in mind smaller oven, maybe for one or two pizzas, and once I read all the information Rado is offering at this brilliantly made website I will bake my own bread and cakes in it. Thanks again Rado for great site and great information, can't wait for more. I am really looking forward to hear from everyone with similar hobby, we can discuss herbs and our first cooking experiments in the ovens. Thanks Alexandra for your posting, it made me write this. Have a nice day everyone. Chrystele

I don't dream about building a traditional oven. I dream more about using it at home, cooking and baking in it. Maybe I am in the age when I already created my own nest, now it wants more, it needs wood oven and so I have to prepare myself for building one. I am a total novice but with a strong drive, especially when seeing those nice Dada's pizza pictures in this site. Is anyone like me reading this (and now I really don't mean women only), do you want to utter? "I need all the help that I can get." I found myself comming in here finding people with the same interests and I'd like to say hallo to everyone.
