Anyone use smooth cream solid clay Midland Bricks instead?

Hi
Looking at all the options to build an oven here in Perth. Anyone used Midland Bricks smooth cream solid clay brick? how did it go?
Cost of these is about 70c compared to 3.70 quote for firebrick (specs of firebrick still to be confirmed but sold by kiln maker??)
