Oven Dimensions

From the WFO board

Rado: This is a great site! Thanks for spending the time to set this up and share your expertise.

I want to build one of your ovens but don;t think I have enough room to build the one you have on your building plans page. Can you tell me the dimensions of that oven? It looks like the outside brick wall is 8 bricks deep and 8 bricks wide. What are those measurements and how high is the oven?

It looks too large for the space I have to build an oven. But I read that you can always create a smaller oven by removing one brick from each side. There is an oven on your pictures page called "Bardon oven picture". Could you tell me how many bricks deep and wide is this one? Is it 1 fewer or 2 fewer?

Thanks again for this site. Very neat work.
