Why does the tutorial come on the CDROM ?
The cd has 500MB file size, zipping it would make it smaller by only 20MB.
For a good quality details to be seen on all pictures they are in average 1.4MB each (.jpg file format) and are also large in dimensions so you can zoom in.
With an average fast internet access of 256kbs (not a 50kbs dial up K56 modem what I use :-) downloading of this size would take half an hour. Average fast internet access plan limits many people to download 200MB per month!
This website runs on a hosting plan with only 2GB bandwidth download limit, that would make it available for 4 downloads and my site would go off for the rest of the month.
(By the way, currently the site is in need to be run from it's own server or would have to be on an expensive hosting plan. I have dedicated server in mind, it’s a challenge No1. for me!!! I like the challenge a lot and the site is growing, not fading away. It will continue to grow.)
If anyone knows a way how to figure this out please let me know, if it's not a secret from another dimension. Although pictures should stay of the same quality.
